Job hunting​

The roof and the 會所​

• 有一日炸屋，so i went out to buy bakehouse, trying to somewhere to eat breakfast
• And i for the first time went to citygate's roof, its very chill... and rainy
• I go back to 會所 to start working, its actually a very good place

Rest of my life​

• No news, i seriously dun know what i can do now...
• I screwed up Nex's code interview as well...
• I am so emo these two days
• I am binge watching 1+1 these two days
• But lets start working tmr

• Nothing special happened
• I am reading through DDIA, quite slowly...
• Finished the Exercise Worksheet required from nex
• TMR is final interview with Rio Plus, recently i feel like when there is hope, it always fails me, so i dun want to expect anything good is gonna happen

• I backfilled all day record!!! it is using git lfs now btw
• I am still feeling kind of sick, throat pain is much better today, but still...
• Prepping for the interview, i dun know what i should study, my intuition an hour ago tells me to go with mongo, so i am going to read the detail doc generated by gpt now...
  • Added tome support on research repo, so reading is easier now

• I am starting to be sick...
• This week's interview has no feedback, which is scary and sad
• I did things here and there these few days, but nothing significant

• Went to interview rio plus, so turns out it is a start up like literally two months ago

  • the 老細 is former boss / friends with Johnson, the guy i hired for Choco Up to replace me lol

• Watched barry lyndon finally, want to read the kubrick book
• Nothing special, prepping for tmr's interview
• I found a way to actually do good research using ai??
• The crossover between tm and rl

• Coz of the IA interview, trying to deploy a model, did some benchmark, it is quite fun
• Check the llm repo for learnings and data
• Vibe coded vibe watchlist for bugfix and series dev, this is probably the most absurd thing i have ever witness a llm say

• Have an interview with IA, it was... super simple, and unorthodox
• But, when preping for the interview, i learned so much about k8s, terraform and llm serving, super good!
• Also tagged a bunch of medias

• basically none has been done
• but i did spend the day reading the nlp book, not too focused, but i started
• i need to review how much i should do next week

• Had an interview with Chaos Theory's Marvin, i dun think i will be proceeded, but it was a good interview, 一鳩打醒左我.

  • He focuses a lot on whats my reason leaving both company, what do i want in the future
  • He criticized me for being an escaper from problems
  • My take:
    • That critic is partially fair, but i do think the reason is a bit different from he thinks.
    • I did not escape from the problem, i don't think i escaped from the pressure as well.
    • I also cant directly say choco up culture suck ass, i dun want to work there anymore
    • But i do tend to avoid hard problem, and try to delay them as long as i can
    • Like right now, i am basically escaping from my responsibility, and what i should do
    • This is the 一鳩 part
    • And i do think i have a clear goal of what i want to do in the next job, i just dun think i can achieve it now

• So, lets actually work my ass off, no, lets actually re focus, week by week do what i should do

• I also want to include the weekly goal every Sunday, and see if i can finish the goal
